Sqwid x True Stars NFT Partnership 🤝 Meet our Partner True Stars! 🎨

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the privilege of highlighting incredible emerging artists, each bringing a unique voice and vision to the evolving world of digital art. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our partner, True Stars, a leading NFT magazine and Web3 community dedicated to amplifying creative voices.

For our final interview in the Illuminating Emerging Artists series, we’re shifting the spotlight to the force behind the network—True Stars itself. More than just a platform, True Stars is a movement championing authenticity, storytelling, and innovation in the Web3 space.

In this conversation, we dive into the mission and vision that fuel True Stars, explore how they discover and uplift artists, and discuss the evolving role of media in the NFT space. Let’s meet the partner that helped bring this series to life.

True Stars has built a reputation as a leading NFT magazine and Web3 community. What inspired you to create this space, and what is your mission in the Web3 world?

True Stars was born from a desire to help creators find their voice and gain recognition in a rapidly evolving Web3 landscape. My background as an artist and creative entrepreneur taught me the importance of storytelling and content creation in building meaningful connections.

The mission of True Stars is to empower visionary creators and builders to share their authentic journeys, connect with like-minded innovators, and make their dreams a reality while staying true to who they are.

We are more than just a magazine—we are a global community that champions creativity, authenticity, and impact.

Over the past three weeks, you've introduced us to some incredible talent through the Illuminating Emerging Artists series. How do you discover and select artists to spotlight?

We look for creators who are pushing the boundaries of digital art and innovation, particularly those who have compelling stories to tell.

The process is both organic and intentional—some artists come onto our radar through collaborations, recommendations from our network, or through their groundbreaking work in the NFT space. Our goal is to uplift diverse voices that embody the spirit of True Stars: creativity, authenticity, and a fearless approach to their craft.

Community and storytelling seem to be at the heart of True Stars. How do you see the role of media and curation evolving in the NFT space?

Media and curation in the NFT space are evolving to be more participatory and community-driven. Storytelling is crucial—it helps bridge the gap between technology and human connection. As we navigate Web3, creators and collectors alike are seeking narratives that resonate with their values and aspirations.

True Stars aims to be a trusted guide and amplifier for these stories, fostering meaningful connections and empowering creators to build authentic digital legacies.

As we gear up for our Spaces event, what’s one key message or takeaway you hope to share with the Sqwid community.

The power of creativity and innovation lies in collaboration.

As Web3 continues to evolve, it’s crucial to nurture authentic connections, share our stories, and push the boundaries of what's possible. I hope the Sqwid community walks away from the event inspired to support emerging artists, think outside the box, and build a more inclusive and creative future together.

As we wrap up this Illuminating Emerging Artists series, we want to reflect on the impact of our partnership with True Stars. Since its launch in early January, this collaboration has brought three incredible artists into the spotlight: Rainbow Mosho, Teresa Melvin, and Fernanda Boccard. Each has a unique story and creative vision.

We connected these artists with the community through a series of Spaces, sparking meaningful conversations and real-world impact. Rainbow and Teresa’s NFTs sold within a day of their launches, a testament to the power of storytelling, curation, and collective support in Web3.

But we’re not done yet. To close out this journey, we’ll be hosting a final Space this Friday, February 7th at 5pm UTC with Emily from True Stars, diving deeper into the role of media, curation, and community in the NFT space.

Join us as we reflect on the series and look ahead to what’s next. See you there!
